Memory Care

Memory Care is a very important aspect of ageing in some of the elders.   Dementia and Alzheimer’s are some of the common memory related issues that some seniors face.   Memory care is a very specialized area and not many centres are available today to handle the fast growing issue.   Memory care is different from assisted care.  It involves a lot of passion and compassion.  From mood swings to change in behavior,  it affects the seniors.   But the challenge is for the care givers.   Care Givers of memory care seniors need counseling and respite.     Schizophrenia is one more area that needs a lot of attention and care and can be very hard on the care givers.

Memory care centres use  specially trained psychologists and psychiatrists to help patients.
